<p>There are hundreds of various diets available. You can try one after another and get no long term results. The problem is not which diet to choose, but how to stick to it for long periods of time. The hardest part is doing it for a long period of time, and the main obstacle is the appetite.</p>
<p>You may have not known this, but having extra pounds requires more calories and therefore increased appetite. So it&#8217;s a chicken and egg problem. You want to lose those extra pounds, but those pounds make you eat even more.</p>
<p>So the key to a successful diet is in reducing the appetite. And the rest will follow.</p>
<p><span id="more-111"></span></p>
<p>Following are a few steps you can do to decrease your appetite and keep your weight under control. The techniques I&#8217;m about to describe come from Su Jok.</p>
<h3>Step 1</h3>
<p>Look at figure 1.</p>

<p>You can see projections of a stomach and a mouth on the palm according to Su Jok.</p>
<p>Massage the line connecting the stomach and the mouth only in direction from the stomach to the mouth. For this purpose put any finger of the right hand (if you massage the left one) in the center of a stomach area, then slightly press and move a finger in a direction to the thumb up to a mouth according to figure 1.</p>
<h3>Step 2</h3>
<p>Take a green felt-tip pen and draw a line between the stomach and the mouth in a direction of the mouth. This technique does a similar thing to the massage, but enhances it. <p>Perform this quick procedure before each meal. If the painted line gets erased after a while, make a new one.</p>
<h3>Step 3</h3>
<p>Take black felt tip pen and mark 4 points according to figure 3.</p>

<p>Using this color we reduce emotion of desire to eat.</p>
<p>Do this procedure in along with the diet you take (if any).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Fear is an emotional response to threats and danger. This unpleasant sensation shows up regardless whether the threats is real or just perceived as such. Having fear when there is a real danger is a good thing. Because it&#8217;s connected to your survival. However having fear when the danger is invented in your head is often not so good.</p>
<p>Some of people are afraid of using the elevator, flying, driving, being in dark or small places, etc. According to statistics, a fear of giving a public speech, comes second to the fear of death, which takes the first place.</p>
<p>I had a patient who got a tachycardia when he was about to cross a bridge in his car.</p>
<p>Often people with chronic diseases are susceptible to fears and some of those have those diseases because of those fears.</p>
<p>So if you observed yourself in fear when you know there is no real danger, won&#8217;t it be nice to be able to let go of fear? Let&#8217;s look at how Su Jok can help you accomplish that in a matter of minutes, using the following simple and hightly effective technique. Sometimes it works in a matter of seconds, especially with kids.</p>

<p>Step 1</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s begin with a felt-tip pen. Yes, yes be not surprised. In fact colors have powerful energy. For example emotion of fear is of black color, and emotion of joy &#8212; red and consequently if you paint over an area corresponding to kidneys (fear is driven by kidneys) in red color that will suppress the emotion of fear and replace it with the emotion of joy. Points of the kidney are shown on figures 1 and 2.</p>

<p>These points are on the back of a palm in a small recesses.</p>
<p>Step 2</p>
<p>Next paint over the area of the brain with dark blue color. That also promotes removal of emotion of fear. See figure 3.</p>

<p>Step 3</p>
<p>Attach magnets stars to your palm as shown on figure 4, using a band-aid or some other alternative.</p>

<p>The magnets can be ordered from Internet. If you can&#8217;t find one, use any round metal subjects, for example washers. Leave these magnets for 4 hours and do this procedure every day till your fear disappears and especially do it before events that you know might trigger some fear in you (e.g., an exam, flying, driving, etc.).</p>
<p>This last step is needed only if you have some recurrent fears.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are good habits which help us move through the day without using too much of energy and make us more productive. And there are bad habits that make our lives miserable at times.</p>
<p>There are many kinds of bad habits which fall into various categories, but here we will concentrate on the category known in Su Jok as &#8220;surplus of desire&#8221;. Some of us smoke, others drink, yet other eat a little bit too much. If you start paying attention to when those bad habits kick in, you will most likely notice that it&#8217;s when you feel anxious about something. You probably use drinking, eating, smoking or else to kill that other emotion that you feel uncomfortable about.</p>
<p>Now there is nothing wrong with you, we all have our coping strategies and using substance consumption is just one of the possible strategies. Here we aren&#8217;t going to talk about how to replace the more destructive habits with less destructive or constructive ones. For now I&#8217;m going to show you how to strengthen the will power, which will take care of those bad habits.</p>

<h2>Self Healing Technique</h2>

<p>Pay close attention to an arrangement of grains.</p>
<p>Leave those grains in place for 10 to 12 hours. If water gets onto the seeds, simply replace them with fresh ones and use a new band-aid.</p>
<p>Repeat this procedure three times during one week (.e.g. do it every second day).</p>

<p>Stimulate these points every time you have the urge to invoke your bad habit(s) (e.g. you have a desire to smoke or eat when you aren&#8217;t hungry). Leave these grains for two weeks, periodically replacing them with new ones if they get crashed or wet.</p>
