There are good habits which help us move through the day without using too much of energy and make us more productive. And there are bad habits that make our lives miserable at times.
There are many kinds of bad habits which fall into various categories, but here we will concentrate on the category known in Su Jok as “surplus of desire”. Some of us smoke, others drink, yet other eat a little bit too much. If you start paying attention to when those bad habits kick in, you will most likely notice that it’s when you feel anxious about something. You probably use drinking, eating, smoking or else to kill that other emotion that you feel uncomfortable about.
Now there is nothing wrong with you, we all have our coping strategies and using substance consumption is just one of the possible strategies. Here we aren’t going to talk about how to replace the more destructive habits with less destructive or constructive ones. For now I’m going to show you how to strengthen the will power, which will take care of those bad habits.

How To Get Rid Of A Headache | Self Healing Techniques Series
It’s most certain that you’ve suffered from a headache at least once in your lifetime, but you read this probably because you have chronic headaches which make your life miserable.
It is most likely that so far in order to keep the ever annoying pain under control you used to swallow pills. Headache medicine is often very harmful to your body, and while it helps relieve the pain, its side-effects often hurt other important for well-being systems and in the long run you have to cope with new issues, caused by the medicine. Moreover, if the same drug is taken on a regular basis (e.g., if you suffer from a chronic migraine) your body develops tolerance to it and that drug often stops working, making you increase dosage or try other even worse drugs.

Self Healing Techniques or How to Be Your Own Doctor
The “heal yourself” series includes a variety of techniques on how most of the time you can heal yourself without using any drugs or even visiting doctors. Pharmaceutical companies and some of the western medicine practitioners don’t want you know that you are a healer by birth and that you can help yourself without helping those companies get richer, while making you dependent on them. Therefore the aim of the following articles is to empower you and help you be less dependent on others and be in charge of your own health.
A simple example that shows that you’ve got healing hands is to remember the last time you stubbed a finger or hurt any body part — you will probably remember that you’ve grabbed and squeezed that body part with a healthy hand. You do that automatically without thinking. This is because you’ve got “healing hands” as we all do. The only missing part is a little bit of a belief, which goes a long way towards your healing process. Because intention matters the most.

How Climacteric Syndrome Problems Were Solved
A 48-year old women had been suffering from a severe form of climacteric syndrome for two years. She had very frequent “hot flashes”, suffered from panic attacks and often experienced chest oppression and heart palpitation. Her dreams were very disturbing. Mouth Ulcer Treatment
A 25-year old man had been suffering from mouth ulcers for many years, when he came to see me. The ulcer was extremely painful and the area around it looked slightly swollen. The ulcer wasn’t permanent, but would come and go periodically. The patient consulted conventional medical specialists on multiple occasions, who gave him various prescriptions that only helped for a little while and then the ulcers would reappear.
(A mouth ulcer is an open sore inside the oral cavity. Typically it looks like a white oval on flesh with an inflamed red border.)

Coping with Mental/Emotional Problems after Surgery
One day I run into a man who draw my attention, because his right hand hung limp. It was unusually thin and the muscles were atrophied. The right side of his face didn’t look quiet normal. The right eye was smaller than the left and his eyes expressed a lot of sadness. In our conversation he told me that several years ago he had an accident and had went thought several surgical operations. In opinion of the medical experts his right hand couldn’t be restored. Beside that, he had been suffering from a deep depression for a long time. He had no appetite and smoked a lot. He had bad dreams and he couldn’t sleep past 5am and he hardly ate. To add insult to injury he had issues with his sexual performance.
He didn’t work, because he had a disability. I wanted to try to help this man and I suggested that he come and see me.

A Simple Detoxifying Diet (Seneca Indian Cleansing Diet)
Here is a very interesting detoxifying diet from the book “Ageless Remedies from Mother’s Kitchen“, by Hanna Kroeger, the “Grandmother of Health”, drawn from over a half century of study in Health. She established the first health food store in USA in 1957.
This diet was contributed by the Seneca Indians.
First day
Eat only fruits and all you want. Try apples, berries, watermelon, pears, peaches, cherries, whole citrus fruits, and so forth, no bananas.

Knee-Pain Treatments
I have recently treated a few cases of knee pain. Here I want to tell you about two of them.
The First Case
A 80 year-old women came to me for the treatment of her knee. She came leaning on the stick. Her right knee was swollen and painful. Her right leg was slightly bent. She had been suffering from the knee pain for a long period of time. Recently she has visited an orthopedist and received an injection in her knee, but it only helped for a short time. The pain returned a few days later. Apart from this she felt quite well.

Treating Abdominal Pain
A 35 year-old women had been suffering from abdominal pain for several week weeks, when she came to see me.
(Abdominal pain indicates pain in any part of the abdomen below or just around the umbilicus).
She was very upset. The pain was on the left down side of lower abdominal and was not related to the menstrual cycle. The pain was aggravated with her bowel movements and when she moved. She visited her family doctor, made all tests and no pathology was detected. Also she had problems in her family and was depressed.
