Back pain is one of the most widespread diseases in the world. According to statistics, 80% of population of the globe suffers from back pain. This number is not surprising, since most of us lead a sedentary lifestyle, eat incorrectly, walk, sit and stand in bad posture, and many hardly do any physical activity.

The interesting thing is that back pain is not really a disease on its own, it’s only a symptom that your body is unhealthy.

For those of us who stays in the same bad posture for extended periods of time and performs a monotonous job, back pain could be accompanied by a sharp muscular spasm.

The condition usually begins with a sudden sharp pain in a waist, less often with some dull pain which eventually grows into sharp pain. When this happens the person cannot bend or unbend, back muscles are very strained and painful and a slightest movement or a physical pressure aggravates the pain. Trunk mobility becomes very limited. The pain is often unilateral. Pressing around the waist area causes sharp pain.

I have previously addressed to this topic in Knee-Pain Treatments where I shown an approach I used for knee pain treatment for my clients. Here however I would like to show you how you could get rid of knee pain by yourself, without needing to go to a specialist.

On reaching a certain age many people are prone to suffering from knee pain, when they sit down or stand up, and walk up and down stairs. Overweight people are especially susceptible to experience this pain.

Knee join deformation is the main reason for this pain. This deformation occurs in the course of many years. For some of us it’s not unusual to feel discomfort from stomach bloating and formation of intestinal gas after having a meal. Most of the time the bloating goes away after a few hours and may reoccur after the next meal.

Reasons for Stomach Bloating:

  • Dairy products can increase gas formation. Traditional Chinese Medicine explains this as a weakness of a spleen which is the case with most adults. The modern medicine explains it as decrease in presence of enzymes necessary for processing lactose (dairy sugar) contained in dairy products.
  • Badly digested food can promote increased formation of gas as well. Good examples of such foods are cabbage, beans, yeast, nuts, potatoes, sunflower seeds, fruit, sweets, soda water and certainly any fatty products.

The Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is a problem of many people these days and it gets worse all the time as we spend more and more time using computers, and less and less people can choose not to use the keyboard and the mouse. It’s funny that even while you read this very article your hand is most likely resting on a mouse.

Those of us who have to type and use the mouse for many hours in a row day after day are very prone to developing RSI. However if you aren’t a computer professional, you are still in the same risk group. In fact as a non-professional you are more likely to develop RSI, because professionals typically buy ergonomic equipment and office furniture which helps prevent the repetitive strain injury, whereas you don’t.

The main reason for RSI is excessive loading on joints that were not designed by nature to bear the repetitive weight and movements that happen while (mostly incorrectly) using the keyboard and mouse.
